Star humans
Alpha Centaurans
Our nearest star neighbors, said to be helping Earth prepare for open contact
According to Ismael Perez, the Alpha Centaurans are humanity's nearest inhabited interstellar neighbors: human-like peoples aligned with the Galactic and Earth Alliances who specialize in diplomacy, science and readying Earth to join interstellar society. The A–Z encyclopedia's sources likewise remember them as among the first star peoples in classic contact stories, benevolent observers and keepers of cultural exchange.
Also called: Centaurians.

If you met one…
Meeting one, by these accounts, might feel like welcoming a neighbor from just down the road: a tall, human-looking diplomat as interested in learning about us as in teaching. Ismael Perez adds that even such close neighbors would likely arrive through an interdimensional doorway rather than after a long flight.
What they look like
Galactic humanoids, per Ismael Perez; the encyclopedia describes them as tall, with varied looks across their populations.
Their gifts
Diplomacy, scientific exchange and preparation for first contact and disclosure.
Their bond with Earth
Perez presents them as close neighbors preparing Earth for open contact. In his history of Atlantis, a small renegade portion of Alpha Centaurans, along with some Pleiadians, was drawn into Marduk's 'Dark Brotherhood', a reminder that in his teaching alignment, not ancestry, is what matters.
What each source says
Perez places the Alpha Centaurans with the Galactic and Earth Alliances, as galactic humanoids focused on diplomacy, scientific exchange and first-contact preparation. In Q&A he explains that despite their closeness, contact would still typically use interdimensional travel and doorways rather than simple point-to-point flight.
In the Atlantis chapter of his cosmic history, Perez says Marduk persuaded a small percentage of Pleiadians and Alpha Centaurans to join an infiltration of Atlantis, forming what became the 'Dark Brotherhood': a minority, he stresses, of otherwise friendly peoples.
Perez lists the Alpha Centaurians among the humanoid peoples descended from Lyra.
Perez says a planet orbiting Proxima Centauri experienced a solar flash in 2012.
In an interview posted 2026-05-10 Ismael Perez listed Alpha Centauri and Beta Centauri among the systems that joined the Lyran-Sirian coalition of light that became the Galactic Federation.
Swaruu calls the people of Alpha Centauri the Alfratans (Centaurians), Lyran-descended humans living on a world named Phaethon or Alfrata, about 95 percent Earth's size. In this account reptilian invaders wiped out the original population and farmed humans there until a Federation-led liberation around 1560–1570 — which Swaruu connects with the famous 1561 'sky battle' broadsheet over Nuremberg. Today she describes them as free, fast-developing Federation members and the most numerous helpers in Earth's skies, flying fighter craft nicknamed the 'Black Knights'.
The encyclopedia describes the Centaurians as tall humanoids of varied appearance from the Alpha Centauri system, among the first systems contacted in classical contactee literature and generally seen as benevolent observers and cultural exchange-keepers. The entry names no specific author.
In galactic history
About 5 million years ago (as stated in this interview) · A coalition of light becomes the Galactic Federation: In an interview posted 2026-05-10 Ismael Perez said a Lyran-Sirian coalition of light, joined by Pleiadians, Arcturians, Andromedans, Epsilon Eridani, Epsilon Bootis, Alpha and Beta Centauri, Mintaka and free upper-Orion systems, became the Galactic Federation about 5 million years ago, a different date from the roughly 60 million years in his course notes.
Undated · The Dark Brotherhood infiltrates Atlantis: Ismael Perez teaches that Enki came to favour his Draco heritage and aligned with Orion, while his son Marduk drew a minority of renegade Pleiadians and Alpha Centaurans into a Dark Brotherhood. They overthrew Atlantis's council, which had honoured the Divine Feminine, and turned it toward technocracy and domination.
2012 · A solar flash near Proxima Centauri: Ismael Perez says a planet orbiting Proxima Centauri underwent a solar flash in 2012, and that Earth is next.
Gradual; no fixed date · Disclosure and open contact: Ismael Perez expects contact to unfold in stages, with Alpha Centaurans and Federation allies helping prepare, as humanity becomes less fearful. For him disclosure means both revealed programmes and an inner remembering of humanity's cosmic ancestry.
