Elementals
Elementals & Nature Spirits
Spirits of earth, water, air and fire said to tend the living world
Elementals are the nature spirits of a very old and widely shared esoteric tradition: gnomes of earth, undines of water, sylphs of air and salamanders of fire, along with fairies, devas and other 'little people'. Ismael Perez places their origin far back in cosmic history, in a universe of the little people that he calls the 6th Creation. The uploaded documents only touch on them briefly, so much of the detail here comes from the broader community tradition.
Also called: Nature spirits, Fairies, Devas, Gnomes, Sylphs, Salamanders, Little People.

If you met one…
Many people describe it less as meeting someone and more as noticing: a flicker at the edge of sight in a garden, a sudden lightness beside running water, a feeling of being watched kindly in an old forest. In the tradition they tend to show themselves to people who are quiet, playful and respectful of the land.
What they look like
Described in many forms: small winged fairies, earthy gnome-like folk, flowing water spirits, airy shimmering sylphs and flickering fire beings. Devas are often pictured as larger luminous presences that watch over a whole landscape or plant species.
Their gifts
In the tradition they tend the growth of plants, the flow of water, the movement of wind and the spark of fire, and help people who ground themselves in nature feel more alive.
Their bond with Earth
The community tradition sees them as caretakers woven through Earth's ecosystems. Ismael Perez adds the striking idea that some starseed souls begin their journey as fairies before later incarnating as humans.
What each source says
In Ismael Perez's account of the twelve original Creations, the 6th Creation was a universe of the little people, where elementals, fairies, unicorns, dragons and other fairy-tale beings first arose; the 9th Creation later blended these with all earlier expressions in balance. He teaches that some starseeds start out as fairies and progress to human form. His FAQ also suggests that what later ages called magic may partly have been a lost science of working with elemental and planetary fields.
Ismael Perez teaches that newer souls begin by embodying the elements, gases, water, air and fire, then rise into the plant kingdom, then the animal kingdom, and finally the human kingdom, while old souls such as starseeds descend from above. In this frame the elemental spirits, the undines of water among them, are souls at the start of that long climb.
Perez said the Tartarians lived in deep attunement with the kingdom of the fairies and elementals, as well as with the animal kingdom and the ecosystem.
Ismael Perez taught that the elemental peoples (fairies, salamanders, gnomes and other little people) originated in the sixth of the twelve major creations, a universe in which every being was embodied as one of the elements.
Ismael Perez places the elemental kingdom (fire, water, air) in the first dimension, the plant and mineral kingdoms in the second and mammals in the third, all within Harmonic Universe 1.
Perez says the sixth of the twelve Creations gave birth to elementals, fairies and the little people, which is why some people remember lives as fairies.
Elizabeth April touches on elementals and fairies in member Q&As and in a piece on 'the magical world of Shasta's fairies' within her material on Mount Shasta, and she says she has seen spirits and energies since childhood. The content of these sessions is members-only, so her specific teaching on elementals could not be confirmed. (Lower confidence: titles only.)
The A–Z encyclopedia lists two races that the Russian 'Alien Races Book' credits as roots of European folklore: the Lang, very small beings (about 70 cm) from the Coma Berenices region said to lie behind the fairy myth, and the Ellina, elf-like forest dwellers described as pranksters rather than predators. The compilation presents both as single-source claims.
The broadly shared esoteric tradition, going back to the Renaissance writer Paracelsus and later Theosophy, groups nature spirits into four kingdoms: gnomes of earth, undines of water, sylphs of air and salamanders of fire. Fairies and little people are seen as playful spirits of meadow and wood, while devas are understood as larger overseeing intelligences of plants, landscapes and sacred places. Many practitioners say these beings respond to gratitude, gentleness and time spent outdoors.

Undated; the first ten Creations unfold in sequence · The early Creations, including the Universe of the Little People: Ismael Perez teaches that each early Creation explored one side of God: a universe of perfection, a feminine universe, a masculine one, one of balance, a silent telepathic universe, the 6th Creation of elementals, fairies, unicorns and dragons, then universes of mathematics, experimentation, synthesis and the study of God. Some starseeds, he says, began as fairies in that 6th Creation.
