The gentle, spirit-centred people of Mu, Earth's lost Mother Continent
Lemurians are the people of Lemuria, also called Mu, a lost continent remembered as a gentle, spiritually advanced civilization. Ismael Perez teaches that the Guardians seeded Mu as Earth's Mother Continent and that a corrupted Atlantis destroyed it about 50,000 years ago. The encyclopedia's starseed sources picture Lemurians as telepathic healers who worked with crystals and sound.

If you met one…
Meeting a Lemurian, as the sources imagine it, would feel like stepping into warm water: a soft voice or no voice at all, a knowing smile, and a sense that your heart is being read kindly. They might hand you a crystal before they say a word.
What they look like
The encyclopedia's sources describe them as tall and originally androgynous, balancing feminine and masculine energies, sometimes with subtle elven features.
Their gifts
Crystal, sound and sacred-geometry knowledge, telepathy, emotional depth and a deep bond with Mother Earth.
Their bond with Earth
Ismael Perez sees Lemuria as the Motherland that once held Earth's colonies in balance, and its fall as the great loss that came before Atlantis collapsed. Starseed sources say Lemurian souls are returning now to help heal the planet through heart-centred work.
What each source says
Ismael Perez teaches that once our present Earth had stabilised, the Guardians seeded Mu, the original name of Lemuria, as the Mother Continent of Earth's third seeding, followed by colonies in Asia (Yu), Central America (Maya) and India (Rama). The Lemurians became so ethereal that they struggled to integrate spirit with their bodies, so the Guardians founded Atlantis to restore balance. About 50,000 years ago the Dark Brotherhood ruling Atlantis used crystal-powered tractor technology to bring Earth's original moon down over Lemuria, and the continent sank. He adds that ancient Lemurians understood the Merkaba light body and taught it in mystery schools, and that a parallel Earth where Mu was never corrupted still exists.
Ismael Perez says Lemuria was as large as the United States and Canada combined and that the Hawaiian Islands are its last peaks above water. His course notes add that it collapsed into the ocean when the second moon was imploded over it about 50,000 years ago, and may lie partly beneath the Florianopolis region of Brazil.
Perez said the Oraphim, the original angelic humanoids and our ancestors, were developed in the times of Lemuria, and that starseeds are now meant to transform back into that race.
Ismael Perez placed Lemuria about 2 million years ago, said that on parallel Earths where it was never infiltrated it may still exist, and said Hyperborea preceded it by millions of years.
Ismael Perez said the original twelve-strand angelic human came into being about 50,000 years ago in Lemuria, when twelve races from the twelve major creations combined their genetics.
Perez says Lemuria was collapsed about 50,000 years ago when Enki's faction pulled in Earth's original organic Moon with a tractor beam, after which an artificial hollow Moon was installed.
Perez says Lemuria can be traced back to about a million years ago.
In an interview posted 2026-05-10 Ismael Perez said Mu, an eighth-dimensional race, condensed through involution into sixth-dimensional Lemuria, the mother colony, about the size of the United States and Canada combined, of Rama, Maya, U and Alania. Hawaii is a remnant, and most Lemurians, foreseeing Atlantis's attack, withdrew into inner Earth.
In a 2026-05-17 talk Perez said the Lemurians fell because they became too spiritually advanced without integrating physically, powerful in the light but fragile in facing the shadow.
In a 2026-10-17 livestream Ismael Perez said Lemuria had both land Lemurians and a Pacific oceanic civilization of underwater Lemurians. Its technology joined crystalline structures to the energetic properties of water, and its temples taught spirituality, healed the planet and kept contact with advanced civilizations. When geological upheavals struck, part of the population retreated to undersea installations and others into the inner Earth's etheric layers; their descendants he calls the Lemurian Oceanic Guardians.
In a livestream on 2026-09-27, Ismael Perez said the people of Mu were remnants of Hyperborea, and that Mu was seeded after Hyperborea, which existed when Earth was about four times larger.
In the Family of Taygeta material, Lemuria was a colony founded by the Taygetans on a now-vanished landmass. After the flood that followed what they call the Tiamat catastrophe, Lemurian survivors withdrew underground and became the Agarthians of Inner Earth.
The A–Z compilation places Lemuria in the Pacific between roughly 50,000 and 8,500 BC, traces Lemurian souls to the Pleiades in some sources, and treats the Hawaiian Islands as its surviving peaks. It calls Lemurians the first fully physical human race in the Angelic Human Lineage scheme: wisdom-keepers who worked with crystals, sound, telepathy, sacred geometry and angelic channelling. After the continent sank through cataclysm and conflict with Reptilians, some are said to have ascended while others took the form of mermaids, dolphins and whales.
In the wider starseed community, Lemurian souls are often recognised by a pull toward oceans, crystals and gentle healing work, and by a longing for a softer, more connected way of life. Many also link Lemurian survivors with Telos beneath Mount Shasta.
In galactic history
Undated; once Earth had stabilised, more than 900,000 years before Lemuria's fall · Mu, the Mother Continent, is seeded: Ismael Perez teaches that the Guardians waited for Earth to stabilise and then seeded Mu, the original Lemuria, as the third seeding after Lyra and Tiamat. Colonies followed in Asia (Yu), Central America (Maya) and India (Rama), and peace returned to Earth.
Undated; followed by about 900,000 years of balance · Alania, the first Atlantis, restores balance: According to Ismael Perez, the Lemurians had grown too ethereal to integrate spirit with matter, so the Guardians founded Alania, the original Atlantis, as a fifth colony. He says the five colonies then lived in harmony for about 900,000 years, with Lemuria as the Motherland.
From the founding of Mu, Earth's first great galactic civilization (per Our Cosmic Origin) · Sirian whale and dolphin people settle Earth's seas: In Our Cosmic Origin, Ismael Perez passes on reports that many of the Cetaceans who originated in Sirius have been on Earth since the beginning of Mu, its first great galactic civilization. He calls them among the most loving beings in the galaxy, come from an ascending galaxy to help.
Undated; during the times of Lemuria · The Oraphim, the original angelic humanoids: In a 2023-12-10 livestream Perez said the Oraphim, our ancestors, were developed as original angelic humanoids in Lemuria, the form starseeds are now meant to return to.
As Lemuria faced major geological upheaval · Lemurians retreat beneath the sea and into the inner Earth: Ismael Perez said in a 2026-10-17 livestream that when geological disturbances threatened Lemuria, part of its people relocated to undersea installations, becoming the Lemurian Oceanic Guardians, while others entered the etheric layers of the inner Earth.
About 50,000 years ago · Lemuria sinks: Ismael Perez says Earth then had two moons, and that Marduk used an Atlantean crystal-powered tractor to bring the original moon crashing down over Lemuria. The continent sank, and he places part of it beneath the Florianópolis region of Brazil.

About 50,000 years ago · The artificial moon and the reality construct are installed: In his talk posted 2026-04-30 Ismael Perez said that after the organic moon was imploded over Lemuria, a hollow artificial moon was brought in. Working with frequencies from Saturn's rings and Enki's AI computer network, it confined humanity to 3D and a cycle of rebirth, a construct he says ends in 2028.
