The crosswalk notes that Ismael Perez's corpus does not place the Sassani at the center of galactic genealogy, so in a combined map they belong as one branch of the wider human–ET hybrid story rather than inside Perez's named hierarchy.
Per the crosswalk, Bashar identifies his civilization as a future hybrid society that emerged from Grey-human hybridization, with strong telepathy and direct relevance to open contact. His broader cosmology treats the Grays as their ancestors, and he often relates other civilizations to humanity's own probable evolutionary paths, so the Sassani are, in a sense, family.
Bashar, as channeled by Darryl Anka, says he comes from Essassani, a name he translates roughly as 'place of living light': a world about 500 light-years away in the direction of Orion, existing in a parallel reality whose timeframe we would experience as the future. Its people, the Sassani, are described as the third of five hybrid races born from a Gray-human hybridization program. Bashar portrays their society as organized around unconditional love, following excitement, and non-judgment. Accounts of how far ahead they are vary between sources (Anka has spoken of roughly 3,000 years; some fan summaries say a few hundred).
Fan compilations of Bashar's transmissions describe the Sassani as about five feet tall and slender, with pale grayish-white skin and large upturned eyes; females are said to have white hair while males are hairless. A lifespan of around 300 Earth years is the most commonly quoted figure, though other summaries give different numbers. Bashar is reported to say most Sassani live aboard very large ships (often quoted as 3 to 12 miles across) and visit their planet rather than build cities on it, to leave its ecology largely untouched.
In Bashar's material the Essassani are described as living at a fourth-density level of consciousness. Community libraries of his talks report that around 2013 they began moving into fifth density and started calling themselves by a newer name, Eshakani. This 2013 date appears in fan summaries rather than in a transcript we could confirm, so treat it as uncertain.
Elizabeth April lists the Essassani among the Galactic Federation beings she channels, describing them as a hybrid people whose DNA blends human and extraterrestrial (Grey) lines, roughly half-human and half-Grey. She credits them with high intelligence and an unusually deep grasp of quantum reality.
The A–Z encyclopedia describes Bashar's people as a hybrid civilization several hundred years in humanity's future, combining human and Zeta heritage: smaller than humans, large-eyed, with pale gray-tan skin.
