Shakani

Shakani is a name from Bashar's material (channeled by Darryl Anka). Rather than a separate hybrid race, it is mainly described as the collective consciousness, or over-soul, of Bashar's own people, the Essassani. Some fan pages use it loosely as another name for the Sassani or their star system.

In the Bashar material, 'Shakani' (also spelled Shakana) is mainly described as the name of the Essassani collective consciousness, or Over-Soul, rather than a separate race. It is compared to Siskeen, the Over-Soul of the Sirius civilization. A related name, Eshakani, is said to mark the Essassani's newer fifth-density identity. Some fan pages use 'Shakani' as another name for the Sassani people or their star system, but we found no transcript that clearly calls Shakani a distinct hybrid race or a star system.
