Mintakan Orion
Merfolk-like 'original lightworkers' of Mintaka's lost water world
The encyclopedia's Orion-starseed sources describe Mintaka, the western star of Orion's Belt, as once home to a utopian water world that stayed neutral in the Orion Wars. Its merfolk-like people are called the original lightworkers.

What they look like
Three merperson-like lineages: blue skin with black hair, mint-green skin with platinum hair, and a deep red or brown-skinned hybrid line. Telepathic, with little facial expression; radiant light forms at higher densities.
Their bond with Earth
Ismael Perez says the Mintakan mermaids of Orion have many incarnations on Earth today: in the starseed-origin readings at the end of his Our Cosmic Origin class he finds a large number of Mintakan starseeds. He also links Isis and Osiris to the Council of Mintaka in Orion's upper regions.
What each source says
Perez said Isis and Osiris represented the Council of Mintaka (transcribed "menta") and the upper regions of Orion, part of the Council of Light in Orion to which the Giza pyramids are aligned.
Asked about the Mintakan mermaids of Orion in a livestream on 2026-09-20, Ismael Perez said many of them are here: in the starseed-origin readings he gives at the end of his Our Cosmic Origin class, he has found a large number of Mintakan starseeds on Earth now.
Per Ancient Esoterica, Starseed Sanctuary and other Orion-starseed sources, Mintakan starseeds are sincere, calm, drawn to water and natural mediators who often feel homesick for the sea.
In galactic history
Undated; the original period of ancient Egypt · Isis and Osiris anchor the Law of One in Egypt: In a 2023-12-09 podcast Perez said Isis and Osiris, representing the Council of Mintaka and benevolent upper Orion, ruled earliest Egypt, which is why the pyramids align with Orion's belt stars.
