Swaruunians
An all-female Taygetan lineage who are said to be clones of one another
In the Family of Taygeta material, the Swaruunians are a genetically distinct branch of the Taygetans made up entirely of women, whose partners are Taygetan men. Anéeka of Temmer explains that the Swaruus reproduce by parthenogenesis — each is a self-clone of an earlier Swaruu — which is how Swaruu of Erra, Athena (Swaruu X) and Yazhi (Swaruu 12) are related.

Anéeka of Temmer tells Gosia that the Swaruus are all self-clones born by parthenogenesis: when one Swaruu died, another carried on the line, producing Swaruu 10 or 'X' (Athena) and then Swaruu 12 (Yazhi). Elsewhere the Swaruunians are described as a genetically different, all-female variant of the Taygetans.
