Ascended Masters
Souls who mastered human life and now guide others home from higher realms
Ascended masters are understood as souls who once lived as humans, completed their ascension and now help humanity from higher realms. Ismael Perez speaks of Jesus Christ and other ascended masters as embodying 5D unity consciousness, and says Saint Germain and other celestial beings work with an intergalactic alliance. A brotherhood of masters is also a long-standing theme of the wider esoteric community.
Also called: Brotherhood of Light, Great White Brotherhood (community term), Order of Melchizedek, St. Germain.

If you met one…
Many describe it as a teacher's presence arriving in meditation: kind, steady, a little humorous, with eyes that seem to take in your whole path at once. Often a colour comes with them, like a soft violet flame.
What they look like
Usually perceived as radiant human figures in robes of light, recognisable as the teachers they once were.
Their gifts
Teaching, initiation and steady encouragement on the path of self-realisation and ascension.
Their bond with Earth
Ismael Perez places them alongside Archangel Michael's Space Brotherhood in helping Earth through its transition. In his framework the Melchizedek order and the Brotherhood of Light carry guardian knowledge through human history.
What each source says
Ismael Perez says an intergalactic space alliance of many galaxies works with the Ascended Masters, including Saint Germain and other celestial beings, with Archangel Michael at the head of the Space Brotherhood. His Ascension 1.0 course describes 5D unity consciousness as the state reached by Jesus Christ and other ascended masters, and elsewhere he calls Jesus the First Born of Heaven and the Great Silver Sun. His FAQ presents Melchizedek as a high guardian and priestly order rather than one ancient king, and the Brotherhood of Light as the service-to-others stream of initiates who preserve higher knowledge.
Perez said ascended masters of the Council of Shambhala, connected with Tibet and including Kuthumi, El Morya and Saint Germain, visited him about ten years earlier while he was writing Our Cosmic Origin and blessed the book so it would activate readers in time for Earth's ascension.
Ismael Perez said Saint Germain and the Great White Brotherhood have always protected the United States, and that Saint Germain overshadowed Abraham Lincoln to preserve the republic when the cabal set North against South.
Ismael Perez said the Age of Aquarius will be overshadowed and overseen by Saint Germain, whom he called the founder of freedom and the mysterious figure who stirred the signers of the Declaration of Independence. He also counted Renaissance figures such as Galileo, Giordano Bruno and Michelangelo as members of the Brotherhood of Light.
Ismael Perez said the Masters of the Great White Brotherhood, including figures such as Yogananda and Sai Baba, operate from the seventh dimension, arranged his own initiation into Kriya yoga at nineteen, and continue to visit him in meditation and dreams with the message to finish the 'great work of all ages'.
Ismael Perez said the angelic lineage came to Earth through China and India (through Krishna's descendants) as well as Mesopotamia, so that the Masters of the East and of the West together make up the Great White Brotherhood and Sisterhood of light.
Ismael Perez said the 144,000 are exactly that many beings who have ascended, merged with Prime Creator Source and come from the thirteenth level of reality, called the Elohim in scripture. They form the inner core of the starseed nation and will guard Earth and the multiverse.
In a 2026-10-15 livestream Ismael Perez classed the Ascended Masters as celestial souls of the seventh dimension and above: beings who lived as humans, reintegrated their descending spirit at the human kingdom and then rose to the fifth dimension and beyond.
In a 2026-10-08 livestream Perez said the ascended masters come from the seventh dimension, where bodies are fully crystalline. They no longer use carbon-based DNA, he said, only pure crystalline genetics.
In a livestream on 2026-09-24, Ismael Perez said Saint Germain was Joseph, the earthly guardian of Jesus, and not a future Jesus travelling back in time. Jesus is chohan of the sixth ray and Saint Germain chohan of the seventh ray, the ray of the coming Age of Aquarius.
The A–Z compilation mentions 'Ascended Master Collectives' as another name for the Ultraterrestrials, cosmic administrators of pure consciousness who keep dimensions and time cycles in order (from Anna Hayes' Voyagers). It also lists Saint Germain channelled teachings among its sources on Maldek, and says some Lemurians left their bodies and ascended when Lemuria sank.
In the wider esoteric tradition, from Theosophy to the 'I AM' teachings, the ascended masters form a Great White Brotherhood (the 'white' refers to light) that includes Saint Germain of the violet flame, El Morya, Kuthumi, Lady Nada, Kuan Yin, Mother Mary and Jesus. Students call on them for guidance, protection and inner transformation.

Now · Ascension starts within: Ismael Perez teaches that ascension is already under way and does not require waiting for any outer event. He describes three stages, awakening, emotional and mental detox, then integration, built through meditation, forgiveness, heart-centred choices and presence, which move a person from 3D toward 5D unity consciousness.
