Karistus
Winged, long-necked beings said to keep hidden crystal cities at Jupiter
Yazhi Swaruu and Anéeka of Temmer describe the Karistus as a winged, mostly sixth-density people with very long necks, pale almond eyes and long ornamented robes, who move slowly and deliberately. They say the Karistus keep crystal buildings at Jupiter hidden behind an energy field, regard Earth as their former domain from about 200,000 years ago, and may be part of where the idea of angels comes from.

Winged, with very long necks, nearly white almond-shaped eyes and long decorated tunics similar to Andromedan dress.
Their bond with Earth
Described as a noble race that opposes the Federation's leniency toward some hostile groups and works with Taygeta and the Alfratans on humanity's behalf.
What each source says
Yazhi and Anéeka describe the Karistus as mostly sixth-density winged beings behind some of Earth's angel imagery; Karistus lore is said to hold that the Lyran peoples are Karistus hybrids. They cooperate with Taygeta and the Alfratans and push back against the Federation's tolerance of certain races. The two speakers differ on details, and Yazhi later says their 'density' depends on each individual's consciousness.
